Here are the 1st pictures of Top Kat's grill project. These show the aluminum with "Show Car" polish. You can see Jim's reflection in some of the shots if you look closely.

This is Jim's description;
Yes folks It is now Complete and is it BEAUTIFUL !!! I will have it to show and display at the SMOKEY MOUNTAIN EVENT, and will be taking orders.
This grill is like the factory grill, with horizontal bars, only all aluminumm, and available show polished or chrome plated. Craftsmanship is superior to any aftermarket grill I have seen so far. This grill has been almost a year and a half in the design and making. I will have a slightly different version with vertical bars to show , and it will be available as well. If you are thinking of a new grill for your Prowler...... this is a must see !!!! After seeing ....it will be a must have.

I am really excited to show and offer this product to you guys. See you in the SMOKIES !!!!
I will post this later in the appropiate forum with pricing. Many of you have been PM ing me and asking when it was going to be available. This is just to let you know that it now is.

The "Show Car Polished" version will be $950.00 .
The "Chrome Plated" version will be $1325.00.

The R&D work is complete. No waiting . Grills will ship to you within two to three weeks of receiving your payment. I will offer a 100% money back guarantee if you are not overwhelmed with the quality of this product.

It has been professionally designed and is professionally manufactured here in the USA out of the finest materials. It mounts in exactly the same fashion and at the same mounting points as your original grill. It can be installed in about 15-30 minutes, depending upon your ability, with normal hand tools.

CJVery nice!! I still like the looks of the stock grille the best!!
TFischerSharp!! Way to go Jim! I have a chromed OEM grille and I love the look of the OEM grille, but the chroming on mine isn't exactly what most people would like. This looks great! T
PanteraVery nice...and well worth the price for that level of craftsmanship. Nice Job

Top KatThanks Mike for making the offer and taking the time to load these photos for me.
Thanks to all of you who are interested in purchasing, those who have posted your positive comments and to those who have sent me PM's. I have been overwhelmed with the great response. I can't wait for you to actually see the grill in person. The photos do not do the product justice. I could not be more pleased with the quality my manufacturer has put forth.
Thanks again to all of you. See you in the Smokies.

Would it be possible to get it in a stock grille????, I would love to have one for my SO-Cal Speed Shop Prowler to match the extended side Grille's that are on it.

That is such a Beautiful looking grille, keeping it in the Prowler based aluminum theme is such a plus for me

I should have said with the same amount of Grille Bars as the stock grille. I'm trying to maintain this look.

Michael TIt looks like fantastic pricise workmanship but putting all the B.S. and soap opera drama aside, I think Grace's grille has a more custom look to it. JMO

Maybe so,,,,,,,,,,,,but who has two, three, four years, or more to wait for unkept promises, and a fit that may be unacceptable? jmo

ed monahanJim, it looks very good. I would like to see a picture of it mounted in the car, from mid-distance to get an idea of how it looks installed.
I am looking forward to seeing it up close and personal in about 10 or 11 days. Jim is very particular and I don't think this would be showing up here on POA if it wasn't perfect and he wasn't pleased and proud of it.
Top KatThank again guys for all of the very positive comments and thanks to all of you who have placed orders already. I will do my best to deliver on time, however to those who have ordered chrome, please remember I am at the mercy of the CHROMER.

Ed I plan to install the grill on my KAT tomorrow and photograph, then get pics to Mike Gatlin again. The grill will be out of the car though at the Smokies for every one to see, touch, and feel.

Toys... ANYTHING is possible. I did have the manufacturer come to this website to see your pic of your SO CAL car.
To make to match your other billet pieces would require starting from scratch again ( R&D work). We don't know how many others would want one so it might just be a one off unit. That being said you would be looking at about $2200- $2500 for the grill, which is probably not cost affective. HOWEVER, on him looking at your car further, he said using our grill and making new inserts down the side to match our grill would cost less, but he did not say how much less. Just a couple of options for you.

To those who prefer a different grill, There ARE a couple of other style grills out there. This grill may not be for everyone. We all have different tastes.... and that's what makes us all special. This grill is just another option.

Thanks again to everyone.
Jim

MORE THAN great
Top KatThanks to everyone. I installed the grill in my KAT last night and took some photos after dark. I removed the stock grill and had the new one installed in less than 15 minutes. It is very simple, but I will include complete instructions with each grill for those who have not removed their grill in the past. Pic's of the grill installed will be up soon for you to see.

On another note: I have received numerous PM's and e-mails from members here wanting to see photos of my restored 63' Plymouth Sport Fury 426 MAX WEDGE when I finished it. Well after two years it is complete as well, so I will again call on Mike Gatlin to post some pics of this on another thread here soon.

Jim
